Our Instructors
OUR INSTRUCTORS
Primary Certification Course Instructors and Captains for Safe Boating America MUST have the following qualifications:
1. Be a Captain Licensed from the U.S. Coast Guard or have successfully completed the Captains course
2. Be a Certified State Safe Boating Instructor or teacher
3. Be enrolled in a Random Drug Testing Program
4. Be currently certified in the American Heart Association's CPR, AED and First Aid program
We believe that extensive experience and proficiency in both boating and teaching is necessary to instruct students in an efficient and comprehensive format.
Every Instructor we have is an experienced boater with multiple certifications so you can be sure you'll get the education you expect.
