The Mississippi Boater Education Card (also referred to as the Mississippi boating license) is proof that a boater has taken and passed an approved boater education course. The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks currently has a mandatory boater education requirement that requires all boaters born on or after June 30, 1980 to have the Mississippi boating license on board when the vessel is underway to satisfy the Mississippi boating regulations.
