Accepted by the Vermont State Police (VSP)
The Vermont Boater Education Card (also referred to as the Vermont boating license) is proof that a boater has taken and passed an approved boater education course. The Vermont State Police currently have mandatory boater education requiring all boaters born after January 1, 1974 to have the Boater Education Card accepted by the State of Vermont on board when the vessel is underway to satisfy the Vermont boating regulations.
